I bought two of these for my Janome 8077 sewing machines. They are great hard shell covers. They are not what I consider a carrying case as the item does not have a base. It fits over the top of the machine and allows you access to the handle. For my purposes, it works great. If you want a case that secures the machine completely inside, this is not the item for you.

does not do much, but cover my new machine. it fits, it keeps dust off the machine. what else could i ask for.
